When I originally started up my blog (Ramblings by Noemi) I couldn’t really commit to write all the time because I didn’t have a set theme or idea about where I was headed overall. I am a rambler, I have come to terms with that, but I decided a couple days ago to take note of an idea I had last year and JUST DO IT!
A couple months ago while watching an episode of The Mindy Project with two of my older sisters, Mindy talked about how her parents would send her daily emails titled “Mindy’s Compliment Corner” as a reminder of how she is a great person. It just happened to be that that same week one of my sisters was having a horrible day at work so I drafted an e-mail as a reminder to her that she is an amazing person. After months of producing these e-mail chains for my sisters, I started seeing how it was a happy little pop in their inbox to get them through a sucky experience, which was the theme of our family’s year (Later post to explain).
Because of this, I have decided to start up “The Corner” as a place where good things that I see or hear about will hopefully serve to brighten other people’s days. I am going to start posting every Tuesday of at least one amazing, great thing that happened in honor of #MindyTuesday.
